נדפס בשתי עמודות:
משפחת שונצינו היו מאבני היסוד של הדפוס העברי. מוצא
המשפחה בעלי התוספות. עקב הצרות שתכפו באשכנז
עברה המשפחה לעיר שונצינו שבאיטליה, ועל שמה נקבע
שמם. שם הקימו את בית דפוסם בסביבות שנת רמ“ב
)1483 .)
בית הדפוס הזה היה הראשון שהתמיד בפעולתו
זמן רב. שונצינו היו הראשונים שהדפיסו מסכתות מן
התלמוד.
