    Description

This Grand Chancellor medal is engraved “ Presented to C.A. Terrell GC 1878-1875 by Grand Lodge of Alabama1917” and a maker’s mark of Supreme Lodge 14k.
There are 19 small diamonds about 1 point each. C.A.Terrell was a member of the Canebrake Riffle Guards and the 4th Alabama during the Civil War and an ambrotype of him in his dress uniform sold for thousands at Cowan’s a few years ago.
I have been told  this jewel is rare it was for "k
nights that have been appointed deputy for the grand chancellors".
There is soft solder on both rings. The enamel is in good condition, no chips. No missing diamonds. The engraving and high points are still crisp.
Not including the top ring, it is 1 3/8” long, 1” wide. The top ring is 5/8” in diameter. It all weighs 17.9 grams or 0.58 troy ounces.
