extraordinary vintage piece which is just not a necklace but a true work of art and was handcrafted around an intricately carved genuine
turquoise
with typical mughal motifs, a pair of peacocks at the sides and a lotus flower in the middle. Every thing was intricately carved out of a single turquoise piece, which is amazing and speaks volumes about the diligent handwork involved. The peacocks and lotus flower were set with genuine rubies and lop cut diamonds in 23kt gold. The whole carved turquoise was set with a beautiful design handmade over 14kt gold frame and sterling silver and is studded with rose cut diamonds and rubies. The lavaliere is huge and secures through a 18 inch long genuine cultured pearls and ruby necklace.
The necklace is studded with 1.2 carats of lop cut diamonds, 5 carats of rose cut diamonds, 11 carats of rubies and 148 carats of cultured pearls, all genuine and earth-mined.
The
lavaliere has intricately crafted grill in solid 14kt gold at the back which also helps to secure the carved turquoise.
