1948 Calvert Collins Whiskey Ad - 20" X 14" - "COOL" Collins Recipes POLAR BEARS

This is a BIG 14" X 20" two-page ad for Calvert Whiskey from a July 1948 issue of
Life
Magazine. The ad shows cocktails made with Calvert Whiskey -- a Calvert Collins and a Calvert Cola Collins -- with recipes provided courtesy of the Bartenders Union. The swizzle sticks have tiny polar bears on them adorably reaching their paws towards the giant ice cube words "C O O L" at the top of the ad. This is long before those polar bears were talked into pitching for Coca-Cola. Nice to frame for a rec room/man cave.
