1959 Rock-Ola Tempo 1 model 1468 Hi-Fi JukeboxCHECK OUT THE UP CLOSE DETAILED VIDEO!!
YouTube video search title - copy/paste "Original Condition Rockola 1959 Jukebox 120"
In the video you will see the true historical character of the cabinet, with the almost story-telling wear and tear that only an original 50's jukebox can share.
I've only had it a handful of years. We can only imagine the parties it hosted back in the day of it's prime!
The next video in the YouTube playlist shows a restored version of the same model actually, in action. Watch it play. It's beautiful!!! (That's probably the k version.)
I'm testing out the market value here because I really don't know how to price this jukebox.
I am open to offers but not necessarily going to respond to every low-ball offer that comes my way. I have learned that there are FEW of these remaining out there, especially in this condition. So I'm not going to give it away.
You could buy one that's been fully restored, but that could end up costing 2 to 3 times more.
My price will come down if I don't sell near my asking price soon.
So, it's just been sitting, unplugged and unused for possibly decades. (no flood damage) The cabinet feels very sturdy still.
It hasn't even been plugged in again for years because of the surface corrosion you can see in the photos, and age of the power cord.
I worry that a short might damage some of the components that may be hard to find to repair it, so I have literally never personally seen it it plugged in. It's just been a "talking-piece" of furniture for us, and we've loved it!
I'm also just a residential owner/seller, so I don't have the ability to palletize the jukebox for a commercial truck pickup. If that is what you will need, I suggest you go through uship, or a freight company that handles packaging, with a lift gate. I don't have a way to load it into a semi truck.
This is a beautiful piece of history in great condition, so it is worth displaying, or even restoring if desired.
How great would this look in your
Showroom, Salon, Man Cave, Entry, Foyer, or Basement Entertainment Room !!
I don't have any history on it, or any extra parts for it. I don't really know a lot about these jukeboxes, so I'm sorry in advance if you ask technical questions about it, unfortunately I won't be able to answer.
Condition is non-working, untested, no returns, no refunds.
