    In 1994, Caran d'Ache created its Private Collection for Limited Editions of pens and lighters, designed to meet the demands of people who love exclusive personal possessions. The Riviera collection was launched in 1998. The pens and lighters are sheathed in vermeil jackets created by the distinguished Lausanne goldsmith Edouard Jud. The vines that flourish throughout the Swiss Riviera on the shores of Lake Geneva inspired the artist's design.
