Antique 18" Sterling Silver And Enamel Cannetille Necklace

A lovely and colorful necklace. This necklace is crafted from sterling silver with a gold gilt. The gilt is in good condition. Each length in this necklace is hand-crafted. They alternate from fine cannetille oblong beads and enamel beads with Etruscan revival work. Each link is attached to one another with a soldered jump ring. The crafting and skill used for both types of beads are enormous and time consuming. The enamel beads feature royal blue red and white enamel. The enamel is in good condition but the ends are chipped but not dented from use. The clasp is a spring C clasp. This necklace is presented in excellent condition with the exception of the enamel on the edges only being worn.
