Antique Chatelaine Aide Memoire Dance Card Pendant Celluloid & Silver

Description

Lovely, good condition aide memoire / dance card / carnet de bal / chatelaine note book / tally book.  Covers are smooth celluloid, the front with a central solid silver cartouche which was never monogrammed.  Also, two silver hearts appear on the bottom front corners.  There are 5 clean French ivory or thin bone "pages" in between.  All pages are connected by a bale through a top hole.
Excellent condition for age.  All pages intact without tearing, chipping, or breaks.  No permanent marks from previous writers.  Bale present.  Ever so slight warp, but item lays substantially flat.  Silver unpolished and unmarked but guaranteed as a pure silver alloy (probably 925 sterling).

Booklet: 2.75" Long x 2 1/8" Wide x 1/8" Deep.
Bale: Adds 7/8" in Length
