Authentic antique (c.1900-1910) moonstone necklace with 23 matched stones bezel set in sterling silver. The open back and bezel setting is minimal to maximize the fabulous glow, transparency, and color of each stone.
The linked moonstones make up 12.5" in length, with the chain the total length is 15.5". The Blue Ceylon moonstones are about 6mm x 8.5mm each, and display the clarity and blue flash "adularescence" expected in top quality stones. (
The
more transparent and colorless the body and more blue the adularescence, the higher the value).  These ethereal cabochon stones look perfect, no cracks or other damage to their delicate surfaces. No inclusions noted.
