I am selling an assortment of vintage to antique jewelry and rings which I have hunted for and gathered from around the world.  Some examples seen in the last photo - thanks for stopping by!
ABOUT:
This is the sweetest little piece.  French Rococo Art nouveau floral design on this little antique Victorian silver plate chatelaine piece. It is a perfume bottle or vinaigrette with a polished cabochon genuine ruby on the top of the stopper.  The ruby may be synthetic as was common during the period but it did test on my gem tester as a real ruby.
This is an antique piece dating to the turn of the century that I acquired in France.
It has a loop on the top of the two chains to be put on a necklace or chatelaine chain.  Note the longer necklace chain in the photos is not included but wanted to show you how it would look. The chain shown is from the same period and os listed separately in my shop.
MEASUREMENTS:
2 inches tall by 1 1/4 inches wide at the shoulders.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned with some age to them so they are in estate condition.  Each side of the center cartouche has pin dings / pin point impressions, It looks like two deeper ones on each side and a few more shallow ones.  Stopper stays in place but I do not think it is water tight so it likely can't be used to store liquid perfume.  Some surface wear, scuffs and scratches.  A few areas of stubborn tarnish and loss to the silver plate where underlying warmer brass shows but it provides an authentic antique patina.
