    ANTIQUE SILVER GILT JARGOON RUBY SNAKE HEAD CHARM / PENDANT c1800's
    An antique silver gilt (solid silver with a pale gold wash) snake head charm, set with a jargoon to the top of its head and ruby eyes.
    Most distinctive, so collectible & perfect for wear on a chain or charm bracelet!
    CONDITION
    : Slight signs of detail wear & faint denting commensurate with age and use.  Gilding wear easily improve - see pics. Probably adapted from a larger piece / clasp in antiquity.
    DATE/MARKS
    : 19th Century. Not marked.
    DIMENSIONS
    : 32 mm long (1 inch = 25.4 mm).
