Antique Victorian Pendant Slide Fob Paste Pearl Enamel Etched Double Ball Muff

For your consideration; This partial pendant/slide portion from a Victorian era piece of jewelry.  Uncertain of material or stones.  Paste pearls and small ruby/red glass jewel?  No idea. See measurements in photo.  Slide piece moves fairly well up and down the two chains.  Each ball is etched in a different fashion--one has a myriad of small hatch marks; the other has a flower style motif encircling the ball.  Neat little piece of history that may serve as a replacement part to repair something you have?  Or, upcycle it and incorporate it into something new!
