Round Ice Box. 1906 White Frost Ice Box

This is a rare 1906 White Frost Ice Box.
The owner bought it off the show room floor when his wife and him set up housekeeping in 1906.
His wife passed away and he continued using it til he passed away at the age of 90.
White Frost is the only company that made round ice boxes and they didn't make many.
I'm told White Frost thought the ice boxes of that day looked like a big hunk of wood.
They were out to make a ice box that stood out.
They used this ice box every day of their life
It needs love but you would too if you were 114 yrs old.
What you see is what you get so to speak.
Restoring her she'd become a gem
It's insulated with saw dust as was the method used back then.
The lazy Susan rotate around for convenience
I put 50 lbs of ice in her and she kept drinks ice cold for 5 day.
