    Description

    Schlitz Beer Sign  31 3/4" reproduced from original porcelain sign.  Hand painted and patina'd to look old.  Parts were rusted to appear used/old.

    The company was founded by August Krug in 1849, but acquired by Joseph Schlitz in 1858. Schlitz was bought by Stroh Brewery Company in 1982 and subsequently sold along with the rest of Stroh's assets to Pabst Brewing Company in 1999. Pabst now produces the recently relaunched "Schlitz Gusto" beer and Old Milwaukee.
    We got into reproducing beer signs because of the difficulty of finding original signs of exact size and brand for our work doing  restaurant interior i.e. Kruez Market, Blacks BBQ and Hill Country Market.  We can produce custom sizes, handcrafted signs in wood, metals etc.  Please contact us through EBAY for more information.
